Traralgon Rail Reserve Wetlands

I spent three days here between the 8th and 10th of October, assessing water quality, macroinvertebrates, fish and aquatic habitat. As has been my luck this season, the weather turned it on again. For a public reserve and constructed wetland, this system was really nice with good habitat and a number of native fish species.

Winter colour in the garden

Sure, on the surface, the garden can look rather drab at this time of year.
But if you can get in close enough and look into the detail....
....there is wonderful colour everywhere.

Violet
Daffodil
Grevillea
Hardenbergia
Rosemary
